The visual identity for Northern Custom Carpentry, an Ottawa Valley-based carpenter & woodworker specializing in professional-grade interior and exterior home renovations and craftsmanship.
The company's icon is derived from classic, north-centric imagery - namely a mountain-scape, standing tall over a remote, rustic log cabin. A modern, heavy-weighted geometric approach was chosen to visually idividualize the company from more traditional carpentry businesses in the area. Forest green and industrial yellow complement the bold nature of the identity while maintaining contrast and legibility.
